174. Duffields LIVE from Harvest Chapel!

It's not often the Duffields put their "LIVE" concerts on the Suebiquitous Podcast, but here they go! Enjoy the music, the interaction, the banter - and especially the hope they share in Jesus.

This episode is the pre-recorded LIVE audio version of the concert from Sunday morning March 17th, 2024 at Harvest Chapel of Venice in Venice, Florida. Pastors Phil and Jan Enloe have been dear friends of the Duffields for decades and their mission of the church is to reach the senior adults 55 and over population. They do it with excellence.

173. Setting the Atmosphere for God to Work

After receiving an email from a woman who described her difficulties with her husband, her finances and her whole disposition, Sue Duffield (host) reads on to see how much God made a difference in this woman's life after a recent church service setting where little was spoken about marriage, finances or even depresion.

It may come to a surprise to some worship leaders, Christian singers and even pastors - whatever YOU think might work in a worship service or church event to inspire, doesn't always change lives. In fact, it's quite certain that the Holy Spirit (if given room) will do more for the atmosphere of worship than any planned or pre-programmed style of agenda or order of service.

And here's one example.. where God took over, and nothing else mattered.

171. Unnoticed

If you've ever felt unnoticed, invisible or insignificant, then the news of the Samaritan woman that Jesus empowered, will give you all you need. People like her were thought outcasts and even inferior, but so were many who were attracted to Jesus anyway. Do you even feel the gratification of honor? Many don't. This episode is a glance at the true possibility that this Samaritan woman, disregarded as nothing, could have very well been the first evangelist - telling others of "the man who told me everything I've ever done." There is no "one size fits all" in the Kingdom. Praise God for the indivduality He gives us.

170. Scattered, Covered and Smothered

Sue Duffield's experience with Waffle House is such a fun and meaningful encounter - almost like church! Are you "scattered, covered and smothered?" The thought here is, she surely hopes you are!

When we ask God to forgive us, His forgiveness comes not because we say, “I will do better”, but only on the basis of what Jesus did on the cross. No matter how awful we've been, the blood of Jesus is ENOUGH to cleanse, purify and save you...kind of like scattering your sin, covering your heart and smothering you with His goodness! God, the Father sent Jesus to suffer, bleed and die so that He can forgive you. Wow! Take a few minutes to bask in the Light of that statement..

168. Your Story Isn't Over

We know God is in control. We know He is able to heal, but right in the middle of the messy and the painful, many of us tell God what we believe to be our own carnal truth: We don’t always understand His love or His mercy in stressful times, and often that’s when our faith is severely tested.

Your story isn't over. God’s not finished with your story just yet. No matter what.

For the year of 2024, host Sue Duffield will be teaching and training women HOW to write their own faith story. This will happen at a few retreats that she'll be speaking for this year. And just because we start writing our faith story, doesn’t mean life is over - in fact it’s quite the opposite! Our faith story is progressing every day and with an open-ended story, we can be hopeful that God will carry you until its completion.

“I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6

167. The Sequential Order of Things

Sue Duffield has always loved the thought and plan of the sequence of songs on albums by all kinds of artists. There's plan; there's a reason, especially in the concept album department. But there's also another kind of order too. And with a little levity and inspiration, this episode may just become a favorite for 2023.

If you want to grow in your faith, you must step into the divine ordering of things for your life. You must, by the Spirit of God, walk in the divine ordering of things so that your life will forever be joined to a God of order.

Be encouraged, that even today has it’s roots in yesterday’s ordering of misalignment or failure. It also has the synchrony of many faith-filled days prior, to get you through the most difficult assignment of this very day.

166. Bending the Details A Bit

The blessing and critically acclaimed story of the "daughter of Abraham" found in Luke chapter 13, is best described as the "bent over woman." Sue Duffield has shared this story with thousands of women with the power of God's word through Luke, giving women hope for their own divine healing. We just have to listen to HIS voice.

164. I'm Too Busy For That!

Host Sue Duffield is presented with the question often, "Aren’t you just too busy? How do you do all the travel, the conferences, the podcasts (4), recording, the followup with events - let alone spend quality time with those you love, etc. etc.?"

And to that she usually responds, "I dunno." But her gauge is always IF she's too busy doing what she loves or feels called to do, and IF she falls into anyone of those five definitive categories mentioned in this episode, then maybe it IS time to take a good look at the difference between busyness and productivity.

Take time to reflect, rejuvenate and even resusitate yourself if you have to, but always be aware that if you're doing way too much, your body and your LORD will always tell you!

Sue discusses five key points that are almost full-proof if you feel like you're doing WAY too much. If your relationship with God suffers at the expense of you going non-stop, then that's the only proof you need to know.  It's time to do something about it.

163. The Greater Good

When God promises that we will lack no good thing, He means we will lack nothing that would bring us more of God. We will have absolutely everything that will bring us more of God. But disappointment is rampid right now, even among believers and leaders within the church. It's as if we've given ourselves permission to "assume" that everything WILL go our way, if we do everything right. But that's not always the case.

This episode with host, Sue Duffield, shares how the feelings of inadequacy and disappointment is one of the enemy's greatest tools to keep you from doing God’s will. We surely don’t have to complicate it any more. Do the work of the Father; be diligent in learning and reading and rubbing shoulders with the ones who champion you, and realize that disappointment was never in God’s plan for you. Be ready for the greater good.

162. Every Woman Every Season

Sue Duffield has a passion for teaching women to thrive and not just survive the seasons of life. This season of abundance will get you through your tough times, to teach you how to  give when you have nothing left to give; to love when you have no one to love; to share when your table is bare; to sacrifice and serve, even when your body is tired.

This is the season. And it happens in every season for every woman.

161. That Costco Miracle

This episode is the unexpected follow up to the previous episode 160, capturing the full emotion, surprise and prophetic way that only God could orchestrate in the lives of the Duffields. The Yamaha Piano Company and Costco are just the role players in this long-time, deeply tucked away grand piano dream for Sue Duffield and her husband, Jeff. But it takes a whole lot more than a dream, it takes a great deal of money to purchase such a musical instrument like this brand new Yamaha Baby Grand. And there in lies the miracle..

Sue's hope is that as you listen to this progressive journey of unexpected blessing, that you too will capture the essence and diligence of seeing God through when you have a deeply hidden desire in your life. The best quote of this episode is: "It's a joy for me (Sue) to see your (Jeff) dream come true." And this is as it should be in all believers, because it's imperative for your health and well-being to always celebrate the mountaintop experiences in others. Then, sit back and see how God opens doors for you. The supernatural influx of blessing as you bless others, has no limit.

160. Faith To Believe

Faith is an extremely powerful force. And without it, we can't even begin to please God. It's purely impossible according to Hebrews 11:6. And since we're living in these crazy, challenging and even urgent times, most of us are in desperate need of an all access pass to faith. It's not surprising too, that faith without works is dead. Seriously, dead.

This episode begins with host Sue Duffield's surprising exposure to a Yamaha grand piano sale in Costco, none the less! This isn't her first time having a Holy Ghost inspired moment in a box store, but it surely will go down as another one of her sacred moments with this phenomenon called "dreams" as it defines her unique moments.

Take the time to really dream; give to others like you've never given before, and then sit back and watch what God does. This is a progressing story, happening in real time... And it's not over yet.
